In Mac OS X Catalina, Apple introduced a Notarization of software requirement. More details can be read here.
Even though the Backup Agent for MAC should install and function properly on build 12.5.14800 , the OS would still produce a warning that the software could not be checked for malware:

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information."

When an application crashes on macOS, a system service named "CrashReporter" captures information to a file that can then be used to diagnose the problem.
This note details where the CrashReporter stores these files.
The CrashReporter saves the relevant system information in a file in one of two places depending on whether you are logged in as an administrator or not.
The two locations are:
- You back up a macOS system with RAID set up using SoftRaid
- If external USB drive is attached to the system, backup fails with the following error:

SoftRaid is supported by Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 9.0 and later.
Earlier versions do not support SoftRaid; correct functionality with SoftRaid is not guaranteed.
