You have upgraded from Acronis Backup Advanced 12.5 Update 5 (build 16386) to Acronis Backup Advanced 15.

After each reboot, you get multiple alerts:

Cyber Protection (or Active Protection) service is not responding

Symptoms

  1. You use Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Update 3 (Build 28035)
  2. You registered licenses for Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 and Acronis Cyber Protect 15 to your Acronis account as described in documentation
  3. You registered Management Server in the Cloud on https://cloud.acronis.com/ui/#/license-management

Symptoms

Machine is upgraded to Windows 11 by Patch management, without asking for user approval.

Cause

This is default behavior for Microsoft product updates.

Note that the following conditions must be met in order for this upgrade to be installed:

  1. Machine must have TPM 2.0 chip
  2. Machine must be online for at least 8 hours

Solution

Starting from C22.02 update to Windows 11 is disabled by default in Patch management.
