Clean up your Windows Temp folder to eliminate the issue
Restore of a mailbox or folder errors out due to insufficient free space even though there is enough free space on the server hard disks
This has been fixed
When Acronis Agent for Windows is installed, a folder Itzam is created on the following location:
- Windows XP/2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\Temp\
- Windows Vista/7/2008: C:\ProgramData\Acronis\Temp\
The purpose of this folder is to store a temporary database which contains information about files/folders tree during file-level operations. This database is stored in .dat~ format and ensures quick and proper access to the respective data.
Regardless on what partition you install the product, you will always need to have enough free space on the system partition
Windows 10, starting with version 1803, includes Windows Defender Exploit Guard, a new security layer in addition to the standard Windows Defender Antivirus.
If there is not enough storage space to create the temporary snapshot file, the backup operation will fail with an error message similar to the following one:
Not enough storage is available to process this command

By default, during an operation, Acronis Backup(Advanced) for Exchange will save its temporary files to the \ProgramData\Acronis\Temp folder on the machine where Acronis Agent for Exchange is installed (during backup), or either on the Agent machine or Acronis Management Server machine (during browsing of backups and restore).
You may want to change this if the capacity of the disk with the ProgramData folder on the affected machine (Agent or AMS) is an issue.
