Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud: Acronis task manager service is consuming high amount of CPU and multiple warnings are shown in Acronis Console.

Symptoms

You are facing the following issues:

  • High CPU usage by Task manager.
  • Activities cannot be canceled.
  • Activities generate a long list of warnings in the console:

Cause

Issue with synchronizing with the Local Task Manager after datacenter update to 22.05.

Issue has been resolved in the 22.06 Hotfix. Please initiate an update to the latest agent build.

Acronis Cyber Protect 15: Task manager logs taking too much space and high cpu/network usage

Symptoms

After updating AMS to v15 b30984, in big environments (e.g. 500+ agents) you are facing the following issues:

1. Task Manager Logs are occupying more space than normal (rapidly increasing and even exhausting the server's storage in a couple of days)

2. Task Manager process is having high CPU and/or network usage.
