When running Acronis Disk Director 10.0 under Windows the only limitation of disk capacity is the one of Windows. If you are running Acronis Disk Director 10.0 from bootable media, then you can work with disks of any capacity without limitations.
When creating a master image using Linux bootable media, the size of created image is bigger than expected - the image is created in sector-by-sector mode. This issue occurs only, when using Windows Drive Management tool to resize partitions before.
You need to have unallocated space on the disk with the partition the size of which you intend to increase
Acronis Disk Director only supports disks with 512 bytes logical sector size
If the capacity of the cloned drive is the same with original drive, whereas it should not be, then the issue is caused by Host Protected Area
