When restoring files or folders from a disk or partition backup with the "Set current date and time for restored files" option unchecked, Acronis True Image sets the current date to some of the restored folders
This is a limitation of Acronis Bootable Media
This has been fixed
When setting up recovery to the original location on a network share, explicitly specify the access credentials
As a workaround, manually specify where you would like to restore the files
You create an agentless backup of VMware or Hyper-V virtual machine.
When you try to recover files from a virtual machine backup to original location, only custom location is available in the recovery wizard.
The recovery of an Exchange database to original location fails with:
Error code: 254
Message: It is not allowed to overwrite database <database> during recovery.
- You created a backup of a VMware VM using Acronis Cyber Protect 12.5 Virtual appliance.
- You recover the backed up VM to the same host with Acronis Cyber Protect 15.
- When you boot the VM, it is not possible to change the boot order. The message is:
