Office 365 c2c

Symptoms

  1. You have configured Microsoft 365 C2C backup or agentless backup for ESX(i) VMs
  2. Backups run correctly, with no apparent errors
  3. When you check the dashboard for the protected O365 mailboxes or for VMs (e.g. for the last 30 days), the widget shows 0 Total runs and 0 Number of successful runs 

Cause

Issue in the product.

Symptoms

Microsoft 365 mailbox has Not protected status although a group backup plan is applied.

Cause

Issue happens because currently C2C agent does not perform backup of O365 mailboxes that do not have a valid license.

Description of the issue:

  • You have created an encrypted group backup plan (for All Site Collections)
  • You are trying to browse/ recover the encrypted backups
  • A warning is shown "The backup you are browsing is encrypted. The search in encrypted backups is not supported."

Cause

Issue in the product.

Acronis Development Team is working on a fix.

Symptoms

  • You have created a protection plan to backup OneDrive to Acronis Cloud
  • Backups started failing with the error "Task timeout expired. The agent that is responsible for processing the task is not accessible."

Cause

Issue in the product.

Symptoms

  • You are running a Microsoft 365 backup 
  • Starting from December 2022, backups fail with “'[Microsoft][ews-code=ErrorInternalServerError]: An internal server error occurred. The operation failed'”
  • All Data centers and both local and C2C backups are affected

Cause

The issue is caused by a global incident on Microsoft side.

Issue has been resolved.
