Please use server versions of Acronis products for server operating systems


The latest version of the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Resource Kit gives mention to Acronis Files Connect (formerly ExtremeZ-IP) File Server as an alternative to Microsoft's Services for Macintosh (SFM).


After installing or upgrading to Acronis Cyber Files 7.2.x and newer, LibreOffice will also be installed. If you uninstall LibreOffice, the Acronis Access Tomcat service will become unreachable at the next startup and you will not be able to open the web interface.



Web Previewing of files is a new feature introduced in version 7.2 of Acronis Cyber Files which requires LibreOffice to render the previews. This means that LibreOffice will always be installed with recent versions of Acronis Cyber Files.


  1. You have a Nonstop backup.
  2. You want to recover some file(s) from that backup.
  3. While browsing backup contents in Acronis True Image's window under Recovery tab, you notice that one or more files are missing.


Known issue with Nonstop backup browser in Acronis True Image's window. Use one of the methods described below to retrieve the needed file(s) from the Nonstop backup.


The issue will be fixed in one of the future versions of the software.


When Cyber Protection Agent is installed on the machine, the user experiences issues with Microsoft Office software, such as:

  • software crashes
  • cannot copy-paste items
  • cannot run macros
  • etc

Within troubleshooting of issues related to Acronis Cyber Infrastructure an Acronis support representative might request you to provide us with remote access to the storage.

In this case, we will ask you to whitelist Acronis IP addresses to allow remote access for SSH/RDP/VPN.

Unless specified otherwise by support representative, whitelist these IP addresses:
