Supported SAP HANA versions:

1. You have created an application-aware backup plan for Microsoft SQL Server.

2. Backup completes with this warning message:

SQL Server database <database_name> of instance <instance_name> has not been backed up because the database files are not included in the single-pass backup.

You have a backup plan of Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Exchange databases or mailboxes.

Later, you have revoked and reapplied application backup quota from this machine or have changed tenant licensing model.

Now these backup plans do not run on schedule, while other backup plans still run as scheduled.

After DC update to Acronis Cyber Cloud 8.0, backup of SQL instances finishes with warning:

No protected managed entities are found for key '('MssqlUri=mssql','mms::mssql::database')'.

There are two possible causes for this issue:

1. Backup plan is applied to nonexistent instance.

  1. You use Acronis Backup 12.5 or Acronis Cyber Cloud
  2. You run a backup of a Microsoft SQL database
  3. Backup fails with the following error:

Problems detected that may cause a VSS snapshot failure. Trailing spaces in the path. To remove the trailing spaces, run the T-SQL command: ALTER DATABASE MODIFY FILE
