When trying to back up an LVM volume Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 errors out with "Invalid vault path was specified"
Acronis True Image restores LVM volumes as non-LVM partitions. You will need to take extra steps to make the restored system bootable. You can also restore LVM volumes to prepared LVMs

While Restoring LVM volume created with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 in Sector-by-Sector mode ask for reboot before restore is finished
The conversion restores the partitions as basic
The P2V migration or V2P migration of the machines with LVM can be performed only if the backup was created using the agent installed inside the virtual machine (or on physical machine) and the restore operation should be performed using Acronis Bootable Media.
