You attempt to restore a backup with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.6 x64 into an Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization virtual machine. After restore succeeds, the vm does boot into an kernel panic.

Symptoms

An attempt to save log from Acronis Bootable Media with Linux-like representation fails with the following error message:

Failed to save the log entries to the file

Cause

This is a known issue.

Solution

It is recommended to create Acronis Bootable Media with Windows-like to avoid this issue.

Acronis Backup & Recovery shows the "Failed to create the backup plan" error message when trying to back up to\restore from a subfolder on a network share

If there are two or more operating systems in an archive, the product will detect only one
