Acronis True Image 2019 is currently installed on a Mac.
You launch the program and it detects that a newer version of the software is available.
When you try to download and install it, an error occurs: "For security reasons, updates that downgrade versions of the application are not allowed".

You receive an email notification about a failed backup.
You check Acronis True Image user interface and all indicates that all backups have completed successfully :
Installation of Acronis True Image on Mac fails with the error message "Acronis software for business is installed on your Mac".
Acronis True Image is incompatible with other Acronis software on Mac. Any other Acronis programs must be uninstalled before installing Acronis True Image.
Symptoms
1. Installation of Acronis True Image over an earlier version/build fails with "Fatal error during installation"
2. MSI log refers a missing .MSI file in a subfolder of C:\Windows just before "Return value 3" with an error
