When attempting to browse data using the Web Restore console, the user receives an error message stating that access is denied because "The user does not belong to the group ancestors":

As a result, the user is unable to reach the data they are attempting to access.


When a backup ends with an error status (backup is not created), the software displays a short error message in the product interface, and writes the details in a text log file (“full log”).

To see the short error message do either of the following:


While browsing existing Cloud-to-Cloud backup archives, the user is unable to access the backup archive and receives the following error message:

"The search is not available because this backup is not cataloged yet"


The backup index was not properly updated.


The following solution can be applied by a partner administrator:


Acronis Agent appears offline in the Acronis Management Server console and displays the following error message, even though all services are running on Agent machines and pings between the Acronis Management Server and Agents complete successfully:

"Failed to connect to machine. Error: Could not resolve host"


When attempting to perform "Discovering resources in Microsoft 365 account" in the Acronis Console, the activity is successfully completed, but with the following warning message:

"Failed to read group site"
