• You updated the software to Acronis Cyber Protect 15 Update 3 or newer version from an older build or from Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5
  • Every day, the following alert appears:

    This management server has been offline for X days. Fix the Internet connection issue and ensure that your license is up to date.


  1. You are trying to register offline Management Server in Cloud account
  2. When you upload the registration file, a message appears:

    "Registration file is already in use.
    This offline management server is already registered"



1. You have done the following:

  • Reinstalled Management Server machine before unregistring it from the Cloud Backup Console.
  • Clicked on “I don’t have access to the management server” button in the Cloud Backup Console.

2. When you try to register this Management Server again, registration fails with:

To use Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (formerly Acronis True Image) on a Windows computer or a Mac, you need to activate it via the Internet. Without activation, the fully functional product works for 30 days. If you do not activate it during that period, all the program functions become unavailable except for recovery.


You installed Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office and signed in.

After clicking Enter serial number, you submit a short subscription key (16 symbols).

After you press Activate, the activity indicator runs for some time, then Activate and Cancel buttons reappear. No error message is shown.
