If vFirewall is not in a disabled state but the vFirewall rules are still not in effect, please check to see if the Acronis Cloud Security filtering extension is enabled on the host.

My environment is running under the Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) with enabled SCVMM-based logical switches and it is necessary for me to get those switches in a compliant state with the Acronis Cloud Security filtering extension. How do I do that?

Upon installation of the Acronis Cloud Security Network Manager Plugin, perform the following steps on your SCVMM server to complete the Acronis Cloud Security Network Manager Plugin configuration and get it in a compliant state:

1. From the main menu, open View >Log Settings and enable the "Do not send firewall log to central Management Service" box to cancel sending virtual firewall logs to the Management Server.

I am having issues with permissions on my virtual machines (VMs) and the operations that can be performed through the Management Console. How do I fix this issue and what is the best practice to setup permissions?
