When performing a recovery of an Windows XP or 2003 Server system with a change from IDE to AHCI makes the system unbootable after succesfull recovery. To fix this issue, use an older Intel storage driver.

You need configure the system restored to dissimilar hardware before you can boot it

Issue

I want to restore a virtual machine (VM) from a backup in Acronis Manager Datacenter. How do I do that?

Resolution

To restore a VM from a backup, select the appropriate backup from the Archives tab and start the Restore wizard by pressing the Restore button.

Specify the decryption key if encryption was used in the backup creation.

Symptoms

You have created Acronis bootable media under macOS 10.15.5
