  2. In Acronis True Image settings specify in this order:

    アップデートの後、SMTP 設定を再指定してください。

    Acronis 開発チームは、Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 の将来のアップデートでこの行動を改善するよう取り組んでおります。


    Email notifications can be set up in two ways:

    1) per backup task (Windows only)


    2) universally for all existing and future backup tasks (Windows, Mac)

    Per-backup notifications are more configurable, but are more complicated to set up.

    Global notifications are easy to enable, but are less informative.

    You check Acronis True Image user interface and all indicates that all backups have completed successfully :

    • green check box is displayed on each backup
    • backup completion confirmation is displayed under Activity tab for each backup
    • a new recovery point under Recovery tab is added as date and time of a successful backup (right upper corner)


    1. You used Acronis Cyber Backup 11.7 and specified email settings in Default backup options
    2. You upgraded from Acronis Cyber Backup 11.7 to Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Build 9010
    3. After updating to newer builds of Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5(10130, 10330 etc), SMTP settings in System settings -> Email server are empty and need to be specified again.


    Issue in the product.


    Specify SMTP settings again after update.

    You start Acronis True Image and provide credentials to your Acronis account.

    Signing in fails with this error:

    An error occurred while signing in. Please try again later.

    1. You set up e-mail notifications to Yahoo or to Outlook/Live/Hotmail in Windows version of Acronis True Image.
    2. Sending e-mail notifications fails with error message "An unknown error has occurred" or "Authentication failed".


    Partners receive multiple e-mail notifications "Malicious URL blocked" about machines that are not managed by that Partner.


    Issue in the product: PLTFRM-35589


    The issue has been fixed in Acronis Cyber Cloud 22.01.




    Partner receives email notifications "Microsoft 365 mailbox recovery was started" from other tenants.


    Issue in the product. Details are under investigation by Acronis R&D Department.

    There is no workaround at the moment. This article will be updated when a solution or workaround is available.
