  • You have existing backup created with Agent build 12960 or older version
  • Data center is updated to Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 8.0 (list of released versions - https://kb.acronis.com/content/56310)
  • You go to "Backup" tab, choose location and see "unknown" value in "Backup format" column


Starting from Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 8.0 (Agent build 14730 and newer) mechanism of reporting backup format is updated. Backup format "unknown" is shown if Cloud platform is updated to v8.0, but Agent version is not updated (older than 14730).


  1. Update Agent to the latest version - follow https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/BackupService/#32961.html
  2. After Agent is updated - go to "Backups" tab and click on "Refresh" icon at the top right
