Backups can also be deleted in Web Restore Console:

    3. Enter the credentials of the account to which the backed up machine is assigned.
    4. In Web Restore Console, select the machine for which you want to delete backups and wait for the backups to load
    5. Click on the right side of the backup that you want to delete, to open the pop-up menu:

    6. Click Delete

(!) Delete option is only available for entire backup archives. Selected slices can only be deleted via Management Console.

Deleting archives when no agent registered under the tenant anymore

    1. Delete these backups using the Web Restore (or Web Recovery) console.

If you know your data center name (ex. EU2, US2, etc) simply go to <DC>-cloud.acronis.com/wr, where <DC> is the code of your data center. See details in Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud: Web Restore or Web Recovery Console.

Log in as the original user that created the backups.

    2. Temporarily install an agent and register it to the account. Generally, for backups to be manipulated, unless the backups are cloud-to-cloud (C2C) of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, it is necessary to have an agent installed on any physical or virtual machine, registered under the cloud login (user credentials) for an administrator account of the respective customer.

You can then delete the archive either in the Cyber Protection Console as described above.
