Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud uses Resumable Backup technology which reduces network load and therefore enhances backup performance.
Resumable Backup means that in case of a backup failure data upload will be resumed, i.e.:
- data, which was transferred during the 1st attempt and remained unchanged, will not be transferred again;
- data, which was transferred during the 1st attempt and was changed before the 2nd attempt, will be backed up anew;
- data, which was not transferred during the 1st attempt, will be backed up during the 2nd attempt.
The resulting backup will hold system state to the time of the 2nd attempt.
Please note: data, which was transferred during the 1st attempt and deleted before the 2nd attempt, will be removed from the resulting backup.
