Obtain a demo license from the Acronis website and then install the product

If you would like to install a demo version of Acronis Disk Director 11 Home, please proceed as described in Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced: Installation of a Demo Version.

Installation of Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced does not require a reboot.

Remote installation of Acronis Disk Director 11 Agent via Acronis Management Console is not possible.

List of new features introduced in Acronis Disk Director 11 Home as compared to Acronis Disk Director 10.0:


  1. You attempt to collect system information from a machine running Windows Server 2003 x64 or Windows XP x64;

  2. The attempt fails with an error message similar to the following one:

    Failed to collect system information
    Event code: 0x00E10002


An attempt to save log from Acronis Bootable Media with Linux-like representation fails with the following error message:

Failed to save the log entries to the file


This is a known issue.


It is recommended to create Acronis Bootable Media with Windows-like to avoid this issue.

When a member of a RAID 5 volume fails, the operating system directs the reading and writing all of new data to the remaining members of the volume. A single member failure will not result in data loss, but reduces overall performance of a RAID 5 volume. Repairing a RAID 5 volume restores its performance by reconstructing the data of the failed member on another disk.

This is a Windows Server 2003 specific issue. As a workaround, resync the disks in Windows Disk Management


How can the MassTransit Application Client or Satellite Server connect to multiple Servers?



The MassTransit Application Client and Satellite Server are designed to allow connections to a single MassTransit Server.

Generally, this is the server that had 'configured' the Application Client or Satellite Server, or has provided an MTCLIENT.CFG key file.

Acronis License Server is installed in C:\Program Files\Acronis\LicenseServer

Click "Remove license" if you need to remove an unused license

This has been fixed in Acronis Backup & Recovery 11
