- During this step, first new products are created in ConnectWise Manage;
- After this step, ConnectWise Manage products are mapped to selected offering items.
Product mapping
Provisioning of services via ConnectWise integration has limitations depending on the selected service.
Backup and Disaster Recovery
- At least one device (data source) and one storage are required to provision the service;
- To provision following products, you must also provision Microsoft 365 seats:
- Mailboxes
- OneDrive
- To provision following products, you must also provision Google Workspace seats:
- Gmail
- Google Drive
- It is impossible to provision products from different editions;
- Disaster recovery infrastructure must be from the same location as the backup products.
File Sync & Share
- Users and cloud storage are required to provision the service.
Default storage
For Backup and Disaster Recovery service it is required to select one Default backup storage. As a result, products from all editions related to this storage are marked as default.
If no backup storage is included into Agreement, a new tenant is provisioned with the default backup storage. Edition of this storage is selected according to edition of the first available product in the Agreement.
Free provisioning
Any number of products can be set as Free. When provisioning a tenant, following rules apply, depending on the selected service:
Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Edition of all products is selected according to edition of the first available product in the Agreement;
- All Free products from selected edition are provisioned;
- Free provisioning is available only for default backup storage.
File Sync & Share, Notary, Physical Data Shipping
- All Free products are provisioned
- It is possible to provision only one File Sync & Share cloud storage
