Update

You attempt to upgrade/install Acronis Software and get this error during the installation process

Starting with Update 1, Acronis Backup 12.5 (both Standard and Advanced) provides a convenient tool for remote installation and update of Windows Agents on multiple machines.

Prepare a list of machines where Agent for Windows should be installed

Create a .csv file containing hostnames or IP addresses and access credentials, one machine per line:

 host1 user1 password1
 host2 user2 password2
 host3 user3 password3

Acronis Catalog Browser Service can't start after Java update.

Pre-requisites

You install an Acronis product in a Windows operating system. Installation fails with these messages in MSI log: "MainEngineThread is returning 1603" error in log
