Acronis Drive Monitor is a freeware tool available for public download from this link.
This tool is designed to monitor safety of data on desktops and servers by analyzing three major parameters:
- Health of system hard drives via S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) available in most modern hard drives. See also S.M.A.R.T. Monitoring;
- Monitoring of Windows events that may indicate increased probability of data loss, such as file system errors or problems reported by storage hardware drivers. See also Acronis Drive Monitor: Critical Events Monitoring Configuration;
