Introduction
Starting from C22.12 , the new functionality "Remote desktop" is introduced in the Advanced Management pack for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.
It’s easy to use, one application for seamless access and support for Windows, macOS and Linux workloads, saving the time and cost of traveling for an on-site fix, using highly secure NEAR proprietary protocol, fully integrated and at no additional cost to Advanced Management.
Features
The new Remote desktop and assistance offers various features, such as Remote Connection, Remote Connection protocols, Session management and Reporting and monitoring.

Configuration of agent plan
Agent plan allows configuring settings for remote desktop and workload management functionality:

Connection via NEAR to any managed workload
Connection via NEAR can be established to any workload with installed Cyber Protect Agent (with Connect module):

Observe: allows only to view the remote screen without possibility to control it.

Connection via Screen sharing to macOS workload
Connection via Screen sharing can be established to macOS workload with installed Cyber Protect Agent (with Connect module)
Connection modes:
Control: allows to take full control of the remote workload.
Observe: allows only to view the remote screen without possibility to control it.
Curtain: allows to lock a remote screen to hide from user what you are doing.
Supported on partner and customer levels in the console.
Direct connection to unmanaged workloads
Direct connection by IP address can be established to discovered Windows and macOS workloads without installed Cyber Protect Agent

Observing multiple remote workloads in one window simultaneously
Multi-view allows monitoring multiple remote workload screens in one window:
Connection requires authentication for each workload and is established in Observe mode.
You can connect to the workload right from multi-view window to control or manage it.

Screenshot transmission
Screenshot transmission allows monitoring remote workload status via taking screenshots of its desktop with certain frequency:

Connection via web client
Allows to connect to Windows workloads via HTML5 client.
Remote Desktop Connection should be enabled on the remote workload in OS settings.

Transfer files
Transfer files allows to exchange files between local and remote workloads via File Manager:
NEAR should be enabled on the workload.

Quick Assist
Quick assist allows to connect to any workload without installed Cyber Protect Agent via Quick Assist portable application and provide immediate support.
Quick Assist application can be downloaded from Acronis website: https://go.acronis.com/qa-cloud
Quick Assist does not require installation, should be run on the target workload.
The connection is established via workload ID and access code generated in Quick Assist:

Browsing session history
Session history report shows the detailed information about the performed remote desktop and file transfer sessions during a specified time period:

Common credentials
Workload credentials can be saved in the Credential store and assigned to workloads for automatic authentication during the remote connection:
Allows easy remote access to workloads without necessity to enter the credentials each time.
The saved credentials can be assigned to all types of remote connections (NEAR, RDP, Screen sharing) except connection via web client.
