- You open Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (build 40106) on Mac.
- The message "Grant full disk access to Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office" pops up.
- Once you grant the access and relaunch Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, you get the same message again.
- Giving access as described in the instructions provided here doesn't help.
The root cause is a crash in escyberprotect, a microservice used by Acronis to access and scan disks.
How to confirm that this is the reason: /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ folder contains lots of files named like escyberprotect-YYYY-MM-DD-XXXXXX.ips which contain, among others, a line referring to EXC_BAD_ACCESS.
