use Google Translate

Operating Systems:

Last update: 18-11-2022

Symptoms

  • After agent uninstallation, a new record is created in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations
  • There is an application in the path C:/Windows/Temp called "cyber_cloud_uninstaller_wl_enterprise.exe".
  • As a result, you may have issues with installation or update of other software (SQL, Exchange, etc) because of the pending reboot.

Cause

The record is created for system to delete the Acronis uninstaller after machine reboot.

Solution

This issue has been fixed in Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 22.03, Agent 29258. Please update to the latest build.

C22.03 release will be deployed to Acronis DCs before the 1st of April.

Workaround for the agent builds below 29258:

Delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations manually.

Reboot is not required, message about pending reboot can be safely ignored.
