Cause

Acronis Nonstop Backup may consume that much of computer resources in one of the following cases:

  1. If you enable Acronis Nonstop Backup after it was disabled for a period of time during which there was a considerable amount of changes (e.g., there were new applications installed);
  2. Between midnight and 1:00 AM, when consolidation takes place. If computer is turned off between midnight and 1:00 AM, the consolidation will take place upon system startup.
