  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace

What happens if the free cloud storage for a given workload is full?

  • If there is no paid Cloud storage under your account, further backups will fail. You can free up storage space by deleting some backup slices: see deleting backups from Cloud Storage
  • If your account has paid Cloud storage, then the product will consume space in paid cloud in addition to per-workload free storage.

How to activate free Cloud storage

Free Cloud storage is enabled automatically for any purchased workload license. The available amount is shown in your account.

For example:

In this case, the total quota equals 3,08 Tb (11x250Gb + 3x50Gb + 250Gb). This storage is available to 15 machines.

The total storage available in the Cloud equals paid storage (if any) plus free storage. The total amount is visible in the cloud console under Locations.
