Description

A locally connected USB printer is added into USB WhiteList for Everyone and shared on the network, but users still can not use this printer until they are given full access for USB Port.

Comments

USB Devices White List can only allow physically connected devices, while network shared printers do not belong to the class, not providing VID&PID that can identify them as allowed devices.

Recommendations

To allow shared printers assigned for a USB00 port you should disable "Access control for USB printers" option in "Security Settings".

The printer can be assigned for another port though, which one — can be found in "Printer Properties..." (!not just "Properties") ->> Ports tab.In case the specified port is either COM or LPT, users must be provided with full access to Serial/Parallel port respectively.
