Blue screen (BSoD) appears when trying to switch to an external monitor on notebook with Intel graphics media accelerator.
The issue appears to be caused by video drivers that are taking more space in the kernel stack than they should
The problem may arise after installing the following Windows updates: KB2393802, KB2478960.

Uninstall video card drivers in Device Manager, do a registry cleaning, and then install the latest Intel graphics adapter driver (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics).
