Description
MAC OS X computer with DeviceLock Agent installed on it is not booting after major OS version upgrade (e.g. from 10.13 to 10.14).
Comments
This issue may indicate that some of the built-in system accounts don't have enough permissions to complete the OS upgrade process.
Recommendations
1. Uninstall DeviceLock Agent from MAC computer before upgrading to the new MAC OS version.
2. Or make sure that the configuration of DeviceLock Agent on the MAC computer includes the following permissions:
- USB Devices WhiteList: group "_usbmuxd" is allowed "Apple T1 Controller" device
- USB Port: users "root", "_cmiodalassistants", "_mbsetupuser", "_softwareupdate" and "_usbmuxd" have full access
- WiFi (Regular and Offline): user "_softwareupdate" has full access
- HDD: users "root", "_softwareupdate", "admin", "everyone" have full access
- Serial Port: users "_mbsetupuser", "_softwareupdate" have full access
- Removable: users "root", "_mbsetupuser", "_softwareupdate" and "_usbmuxd" have full access
