Subscription renewal
At the moment only 1-year licenses are available. Still, if you wish, you can pay for several years in advance. If you buy several identical subscription licenses for 1 year, indicating the same e-mail address in the purchase form, then you will automatically get the situation, described at Acronis True Image: "You have conflicting subscriptions". The corresponding dialog at https://account.acronis.com will ask whether you want 1) more computers to cover with licenses (maximum 5) or 2) extend the duration of subscription. By choosing the second option, you can add more time to the current subscription period.

To reduce the number of licensed computers, please wait until your subscription expires. After that, buy a new subscription with the desired number of seats.
To upgrade edition, refer to How to upgrade from a standard edition to Advanced or Premium
To downgrade edition, please wait until your subscription expires. After that, buy a new subscription with the desired edition.
It is currently not possible to downgrade product version number of the license (e.g. downgrade to 2020, 2019 or earlier). However, you can run a few earlier unsupported versions of the product with the current subscription: 2020, 2019, 2018. Don't input serial numbers. Sign into your Acronis account instead to have the subscription activated.

To reduce the cloud storage quota, please wait until your subscription expires. After that, buy a new subscription with the desired cloud storage quota.
Account and registration
Activation
If your product is purchased from our Online store, it is automatically registered under your Acronis account. To activate the product on the machine, you just need to sign in to Acronis True Image 2021 installed on your machine.
If the product is purchased from offline store, you need to sign in to the product and insert the serial number. It will be registered under your account after that.

After the reinstallation of the operating system, the serial number needs to be reassigned from the old system to the new one.
To do so, install the product on the new operating system and follow the instructions from this article to move the license to the new system.
If you have changed hardware, the serial number may need to be reassigned.
If after replacing the hardware you have faced the error "You've exceeded the maximum number of activations for this serial number", follow the steps from this article to reactivate your license.
