Acronis Agent is updated on a Windows Server running System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
After the update, Internet Information Services (IIS) server stops and SCCM fails to work.
During update, Acronis installs intermediate certificate into Root Certificates Store in Windows. This causes the IIS issue.
The issue has been fixed in Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud 20.08, Agent build 23140.
As a workaround for earlier builds, please move the intermediate certificate installed by Acronis from Trusted Root Certification Authorities to the Intermediate Certificates repository:
- Open the Certificates snap-in: in Search, type certlm.msc and press Enter.
- Navigate to Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates.
- Locate "GoDaddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2" certificate and move it to Intermediate Certification Authorities -> Certificates.
