    Symptoms

    Under Activities tab, you see one or more stuck activities Updating Cyber Protect definitions

    Cause

    At least for one agent the option Use this agent to download and distribute patches and updates is enabled and that agent is not accessible for other agents; as a result other agents cannot update.

    There are several possible causes why the agent is not accessible:

    1.  Agent for which the option Use this agent to download and distribute patches and updates is enabled was shut down during other agents' update.
    2. Agent is part of different network from other agents.
    3. Agent firewall settings do not allow other agents to download from it.

    Workaround

    You can use the following workaround to remove the stuck activities:

    Find all agents where the option Use this agent to download and distribute patches and updates is enabled, and disable it.
    This option can be found in: Settings -> Agents -> Select agent -> Details.

    If the activities remain stuck, collect system report from the agent that is responsible for definitions' update and contact support.
