Acronis Notary timestamps and fingerprints your data on a blockchain network
Description
Acronis Notary uses the blockchain technology to provide data immutability and to protect your files from fraudulent software.
Acronis Notary provides the protection by producing hash codes of your data and putting the result on the Ethereum network.
Each time your data is modified, the hash code of the data changes as well.
The hash codes itself are impersonal and serve as the fingerprints. The time a hash code is registered on the blockchain network is the timestamp.
