You have a backup plan with 1st location in a local storage and 2nd location in the cloud. Format 11 is selected in the backup plan options.

After you have changed backup format from 11 to 12, replication to cloud starts failing with this error message:

| error 0x400355: Failed to open archive 'archive.TIB'.
| line: 0x6a1198d1b8be2c36
| file: e:\381\enterprise\backup\impl\archive_data_creator.cpp:242
| function: `anonymous-namespace'::OpenArchive
| $module: disk_bundle_vsa64_12960
| error 0x400001: The archive is invalid or its type is unsupported.

Issue in the product.

The issue has been fixed in version 9.0.

More information

As workaround, create an additional backup plan and specify Cloud storage as the primary location.

Alternatively, create a new backup plan with 2 locations (1 - local, 2 - Cloud); it will automatically have Format 12. The old archive in the local storage will still be available; disable the old backup plan to discontinue creation of new backups in this archive.
