Group and user management
Do I need to create an email address for each customer?
No, all accounts can be created using the same email as long as the account name is unique: just uncheck Use email address as login .
We advise developing a naming scheme for your accounts, i.e. "PartnerName_CustomerName".

Can I use a single account to manage all my customers?
A single partner administrator account can manage day-to-day operations, like checking statuses and performing file restores.
An individual customer account must be created for initial agent deployment and some restores. This account can be linked to the same email but must have a unique account name.
Individual accounts are created for security purposes. They provide data isolation between customers.
How do I set up notifications in the management console?
Notifications are configured on the account level. From Management Portal, go to the Users tab, choose the account for which you would like to receive notifications and adjust the settings.

Can you integrate with my storage solution? How do I start with selecting my location (Partner-hosted storage) instead of Acronis-hosted storage for my Customers?
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is a hardware-independent software solution that can work with almost any hardware on industry-standard protocols like SMB and NFS. Acronis can also support any block-based storage, as long as it's supported by the operating system.

Can I configure custom branding or white labeling for a partner group?
Yes, it is possible via the Settings -> Branding tab in Management Portal. See this guide: Configuring branding .

Agents, devices management and cyber protection
I signed up for a trial. Where can I download the cyber protection agents?
You first need to create a customer tenant and a user account for them.
Once that is done, you can either log in as that user or, in Management Portal, select the customer and click Manage service . This will bring you to Cyber Protection Console where you can download the cyber protection agent: navigate do Devices -> All devices and click Add in the upper-right corner.
After I installed cyber protection agent, where do I start with protecting this device from cyber threats?
Start with applying your first protection plan that can be created either from Devices or Plans section in Cyber Protection console. The protection plan allows you to protect your data sources completely from external and internal threats. By enabling and disabling different modules and setting up the module settings, you can build flexible plans satisfying various business needs. Follow the guidance available in this article .
How does the Anti-malware Protection work?
The Anti-malware Protection module allows you to protect your Windows and macOS machines from all recent malware threats.
The following anti-malware capabilities are available to you:
Detection of malware in files in the real-time protection and on-demand modes (for Windows, macOS)
Detection of malicious behavior in processes (for Windows)
Blocking access to malicious URLs (for Windows)
Placing dangerous files to the quarantine
Adding trusted corporate applications to the whitelist

How to protect Microsoft 365 data?
