The Acronis Backup 12.5 product line has been renamed to Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5.
Today’s digital world needs modern cyber protection. Just backup is not enough: data protection is about safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security. Acronis has focused on a more holistic approach – designing all of its solutions to address all Five Vectors of Cyber Protection (also known by the acronym SAPAS). The new product names are a way to reinforce this difference.

A: Don’t worry. We’ve only changed the name! In-product name change will be implemented in the next build of Acronis Backup 12.5. After the new build is available, you will be able to download it under Products section in your Acronis Account or directly from Management Console: see Acronis Backup 12.5 and 12: updating to the latest build
Q: Will my previously purchased licenses work with Acronis Cyber Backup?
A: Yes. You can use your Acronis Backup 12.5 licenses to install Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5.
Q: I have Acronis Backup 11.7 with active maintenance. Will I receive Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 if I get my free upgrade ?
A: Acronis Backup 11.7 will be upgraded to Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5
