The license check is first performed by the Acronis Agent once its respective service is started. This can be when the Acronis Agent is installed for the first time, or when the machine with the installed Agent is rebooted.

After the first check, the Acronis Agent checks for an assigned license in Acronis License Server once a day.

If the Acronis License Server is available but there is no license assigned to the Acronis Agent, it will acquire the first available license corresponding to its edition.

If the Acronis Agent does not find the Acronis License Server or a license there, it will continue working for 30 days. During this 30 day period, the Acronis Agent will perform the license check once every hour. There will also be a respective warning displayed on the dashboard of Acronis Management Server:
