This article applies to version 1 of Acronis cloud agent for Office 365.

You are backing up Office 365 with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. You have changed Global Admin password and want to sign in to Office 365 (v1) to update the credentials.

You get this error:

Access to the file denied.


In Cyber Protection console, navigate to the Backups tab and wait for it to load. Make sure that this Acronis Agent for Office 365 is selected to browse backups from. This will wake up the agent.

We recommend upgrading to the new version 2 of Acronis Backup Agent for Office 365.
