Acronis True Image closes unexpectedly at startup if Wacom software is also installed.


Known compatibility issue.


Check if the issue is resolved after each step:

  1. Update Acronis True Image and Wacom software and drivers to the latest version.
  2. If it didn't help, uninstall Wacom, reboot the computer and see if Acronis True Image now launches successfully.
  3. Check if Wacom driver and files were indeed removed by uninstallation:


    If any of them are still present - check the list of installed software in Windows (Start - Settings - Apps), Windows devices (Start menu - type devmgmt.msc, press Enter), to make sure that Wacom software has been fully uninstalled.

  4. If the issue still remains, it could be unrelated to Wacom - in such case perform a clean reinstallation of Acronis True Image.
