62044: Acronis True Image does not launch if Nahimic software is running

2. When you try to launch Acronis True Image, the program's window does not open. No error message is displayed.


Incompatibility with Nahimic software.


Until a proper solution is found, you can end Nahimic process to let Acronis True Image launch:

1) Launch Windows Task Manager and terminate Nahimic process:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to open Windows Task Manager
  • Windows 8 and 10: switch to the Details tab to find the processes list
    WIndows XP and 7: switch to the Processes tab to find the processes list
  • Find the following process, click on it to select, and then click End task (Windows 8, 10), or End process (Windows XP, 7):

2) Disable Nahimic2 item in Startup list:

  • Windows 8 and 10:
    • Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to open Windows Task Manager
    • In Windows Task Manager, switch to the Startup tab of Task Manager
    • Locate Nahimic2 in the Startup list, select it and click Disable
  • Windows XP and 7 :
    • open Windows Start menu
    • type msconfig and press Enter to launch System Configuration utility
    • switch to the Startup tab
    • disable Nahimic2UILauncher item

3) Reboot the computer.

See if Acronis True Image now launches successfully.
