All nodes represented in Acronis Cyber Infrastructure/Acronis Storage Web Control Panel are accompanied with small icons representing the roles each node plays within a cluster

Icons allow quick understanding of storage layout and status of each service on each node. This article explains the meaning of each role icon.

Management Node icon. This icon shows the node responsible for the cluster management role. Web Control Panel is running here.

For 2.4 and below
Storage role icon. Signifies that the node has disks assigned with storage or metadata roles or both. There are no separate icons for storage and metadata roles. In case of any issues with either role, icon becomes red.

For 2.5 and higher
Storage role icon. Signifies that the node has disks assigned with storage roles. So, that nodes provide storage capacity to a cluster. In case of any issues with any of the drives icon becomes red.

For 2.5 and higher
Metadata role icon. Signifies that the node has disks assigned with Metadata roles. “M” mark indicates the node, that is currently a master in metadata quorum. In case of any issues with master Metadata, the icon becomes red and another working metadata service will be selected as master.

Acronis Backup Gateway icon. Signifies that the Node is running Acronis Backup Gateway service and participates in Acronis Backup Gateway cluster.
NFS icon. This means that the node runs NFS service and participates in exporting storage space over NFS protocol.
S3 icon. Signifies that the node is participating in S3 cluster and exports storage space over S3 protocol.
iSCSI icon. The icon shows that the node is running iSCSI target and exporting storage space over iSCSI protocol.

Starting with version 3.5, Maintenance mode has been introduced. Storage icons are orange if CS is in maintenance, other services are always grey. Additionally, a new group (Maintenance) has been implemented for a better overview:

Starting with version 4.0, a new node view under INFRASTRUCTURE > NODES option has been introduced for easier management. Now, services running on each node are displayed in the Services column:

In case a node is running multiple services, click on the number displayed in the Services column to expand the list. For example, the node 'acinode1.local' is running these services: Admin Panel (WebCP), Metadata (MDS), Storage (CS or Chunk Server), Backup Storage (Acronis Backup Gateway or ABGW) and Object Storage (S3):
