You migrate the machine into another domain.

Message: The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship

The trust, however, is established and all other systems are functioning properly.

Cause

The agent uses old credentials to access the databases, whose security properties were changed during migration.

Solution

To resolve this issue, re-select the application in the backup plan application-aware settings:

  1.  Click on the gear icon to edit the backup plan.
  2. Click on the Application Aware option.
  3. Clear the application check box and then mark it again.
  4. Apply the changes.
