Issue in the product.

Verify that the error you experience is caused by this issue:

  1. On the affected machine, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\ and open pcs.log.gz.
  2. Look for one of these error messages:
    archive_slice_finish(sid=66) failed. err -5099 (invalid parameters)
    archive_slice_rm(sid=2) failed, err -5099 (invalid parameters)
  3. Compare the time of this error message with the error time of the backup/replication failure.


The issue has been fixed in Update 2 of Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5. Please update to the latest build.
