  1. You have installed build 50058 or 50064 of Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7 or updated to these builds.

Cause

The AUTO_CLOSE property of the SQL databases was not deactivated during installation. It is an issue in the product which will be fixed in the next updates. Please apply the solution below to resolve the issue now.

Solution

The issue has been fixed in Update 1 Hotfix 3 (builds 50073/50242 depending on the region), please update to the latest build.

As workaround without updating:

  1. Install Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
  2. Open Management Studio and connect to Acronis Management Server database (default is .\ACRONIS).
  3. In Databases, you can see Acronis Management Server databases. For each database, do the following:
    1. Right-click the database and select Properties.
    2. In Options, set Auto Close to False:
