59573: Acronis Backup: activating a cloud subscription fails with "License key is not valid" or "Account does not have available subscription"

Symptoms

  1. You try to activate a subscription to Acronis Cloud Storage or perform a backup to the cloud storage.
  2. Operation fails with one of these errors:
    License key is not valid.
    or
    Account does not have available subscriptions that can be assigned to the machines.

Cause

Cloud subscription does not match product version.

Acronis Backup 12 and Acronis Backup (Advanced) 11.7/9 or earlier use different cloud storages and thus different subscriptions.
