Acronis products can be sold as subscriptions or as perpetual (or one-time purchase) licenses.
Effective October 1, 2021 Acronis will only sell subscription-based licenses. Please refer to Licensing change FAQ for more information. Existing perpetual licenses continue to work and be eligible for maintenance and support
Depending on the product, feature set and support options may vary for each license type. For example, to learn more about available licensing models in Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (formerly Acronis True Image) and Acronis Cyber Protect 15 check Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office licensing and Acronis Cyber Protect 15 licensing respectively.
Acronis Cloud Storage is always subscription-based.
If you are not sure which license type you have, you can always check it in your account on Acronis website.
- Log in to your Acronis account.
- In Products, locate the product in question.
- Check license type in the upper right corner:
- a subscription license is marked as a Subscription license and has an expiration date which will be displayed:
