Cause

There are some broken (non-existing) links to .TIB files in the meta data on the vault because of manual archive deletions, incorrect backup plan deployments or other factors.

Solution

First of all update the software to the latest build.

Check whether a backup was deleted manually:

  1. Look in the error message, it should indicate the missing backup.
  2. If you check the vault (e.g. by browsing it in Windows explorer), you'll see this backup is not present. This means the backup was deleted manually from the storage, but metadata was not updated.
  3. Open Acronis management console and navigate to the vault.
  4. Click the Refresh button. This should update the metadata of the archive and solve the problem.

Should the issue persists, please collect the following information:

  1. Process monitor log of the Cleanup operation.
  2. Output of this command:
    dir [path_to_the_vault] /s /b /o:gn > [path]vaultdir.txt
where [path_to the_vault] is the path to the vault in question and [path] is the path to where the file should be saved
    e.g.: dir E:\MyVault /s /b /o:gn > C:\vaultdir.txt
  3. Exported backup plan.
  4. The metadata xml from the vault (personal or centralized unmanaged vault) or .meta folder (centralized managed vault).
  5. Target location logs (if the location is a NAS).
  6. Acronis System Report from the machine in question.

and contact Acronis Customer Central.
